Wiltshire new home

We were commissioned in summer 2021 to begin work on a new home to replace the dilapidated dwelling that previously occupied this gorgeous rural location. Our concept is a series of modern barns sunk into the Wiltshire countryside, using durable, natural materials: charred timber on the floors above and flint walls below.

Introducing subtle and contemporary design principles, the house is designed to sit partly into the hill, subtly reflecting the gentle undulations of the land around it. We are working towards a planning submission in summer 2022.
