Working for a final time in conjunction with George Clarke Projects, we designed a complete house refurbishment and full plot basement, on this modest townhouse in a Chelsea Conservation area.

Our brief was to create as much space and storage within a small space. Owing to the conservation area status, the loft conversion was limited to roof lights and lowering the floor.  The lightweight glass side return extension sailed through planning, and provides a light and airy kitchen space. Floor glass transfers light to the wine cellar and utility beneath.

The practice designed & detailed all the fitted joinery, including the kitchen, steam room, master suite, dressing area and attic study.

Delivered on site by George Clarke Projects, the scheme completed in 2015.
